Job Title:Operations Research Analyst

Description:

Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of Joint Experimentation concepts and events. Validate experiment objectives, redefine objectives in terms of measurable outcomes using Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) and Measures of Performance (MOP), and develop data collection and analysis plans to ensure analytically sound recommendations from each experiment.

Specific Duties

  • Responsible for the use of scientific methods and techniques to plan for assessment and data collection during experiment operations.
  • Research and review future concepts and devise new experimentation concepts or techniques to support the design, analysis, and assessment of operational experiments.
  • Analyze experiment observations and results, and use them to prove or disprove the experiment hypothesis.
  • Provide an initial after action report and well as detailed analysis for the final experiment report.

Education / Training:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, or science discipline with minimum three (3) years experience as an Operations Research analyst or equivalent; or minimum five (5) years experience in testing and evaluation.

Required Experience:

Ability to conduct analysis using at least one of the following: database manipulations, statistical analysis, analytical modeling, trend analysis or sensitivity analysis.
