ARINC 424

ARINC 424 is an industry standard for the preparation and transmission of data for the assembly of airborne navigation system data bases.

The Standard

Each navigation element in the database is uniquely defined and stored in the master user file and can be accessed for any intended navigation purpose. Historically, the ARINC 424 document was developed to support conventional navigation.
